Jobwell Job Updates is a planned text message program operated by Cobia Technologies, Inc., the company behind Jobwell. It will keep homeowners informed about a home-service project being managed in Jobwell by their contractor.
What we send
Job status notifications only: booking confirmations, appointment reminders, arrival and "on the way" notices, photo updates, schedule changes, completion notices, invoices and payment receipts. Jobwell writes every message from fixed templates; contractors cannot send their own messages through this program. We never send marketing or promotional texts. Every message begins with "Jobwell:".

How to opt in
Homeowners choose to receive texts themselves. A contractor adding your phone number to a job does not sign you up. Text updates and the following opt-in methods are not yet available. The planned methods are:
- On your Jobwell project page. Your contractor sends you a link to your project page on jobwell.xyz. There you will be able to enter your mobile number and check the box shown below. The box will not be checked for you.
- By text. The planned keyword is FOLLOW to the Jobwell number shown on your project page.
When the program launches, either method will send a confirmation text before any updates.

Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
